Dog walks in Herefordshire
Woods, riversides, hills and country parks, with the things dog owners need to know: paths, parking and where there’s livestock.
Walking with your dog in the countryside
- Keep your dog on a lead near sheep, cattle and horses, and at lambing time. If cattle chase you, let go of the lead.
- Bag and bin it: take dog waste home if there’s no bin.
- Follow the Countryside Code.
More walks
- Herefordshire Council publishes circular walks of 2 to 10 miles, long-distance trails and easy-access walks on its website.
- Fancy a treasure hunt on your walk? Try geocaching.
